Job Title: Retail/shop Supervisor, Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil Ltd (part-time, 32.5 hours per week)
Fixed Term 10 month contract
Accountable to: Manager, Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil Ltd
Reports to: Manager and Business Support Officer Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil Ltd
Base: Cancer Aid’s Shop, Unit 1 North Street Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil
Key contacts: Manager, Business support officer, services support officer, volunteer co-ordinator volunteers and customers.
Summary of the role:
To be responsible for the running of the organisations retail outlets to generate maximum profit to support Cancer Aid Merthyr Tydfil’s services that benefit those whose lives have been touched by cancer. To include the co-ordination of volunteers, training of volunteers, stock management and maintaining accurate financial records. To support the staff in analysis of sales figures so as to drive the business forward through planning, creative thinking.
